We are months away from having a new president in the United States, after eight years of the Obama administration, and we find ourselves having to choose between the wacked-out, racist, and so super-rich that he can’t relate to anyone, Republican candidate Donald Trump, and the Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, who some say is vanilla on the outside, but just as crooked on the inside…
How did we get here!?!?
While the democrats have embraced their candidate Hillary Clinton, many republicans are still not on the same boat as Trump even after the Republican convention. Ted Cruz, another Republican candidate, during his 25 minute speech at the convention said, “ I am not in the habit of supporting people who attack my wife and my father” (Ted Cruz). He then went on to suggest to the voters not to vote for Trump saying “Stand and speak your conscience.” Ted Cruz was then booed off of the stage after his speech.
While on the nightly show Senator lindsey Graham endorsed Ted Cruz simply because he wasn’t Trump. He then goes on to say that his party, “…was completely screwed up.”
The parties are completely split down the middle, and this is very representative of the problems, and divisions that many Americans face nowadays.
I guess we have to choose between the two crazies, maybe I just won’t!
