Listen to “Get Out…of your head” by Isaiah Thomas

Do you remember times when you felt you couldn’t do anything right or couldn’t make a quick decision to the point where anxiety started kicking in? Did this cause you to overthink?

Valerie Franklin, 44, has a master’s degree and is a counselor at infinity high school. She’s been a therapist for at least a decade and has experienced multiple students going through anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues due to overthinking.

Enis White is 17 years old, and he is in his last year of high school. Being a young black male in today’s society is already triggering. Still, other things like sports, school, and keeping his grades in check all put extra stress on him. How does he deal with it all?

Finally, Adelaide Brown, 92 years old, spoke about the relationship between age, death, and overthinking. She opens up about the people in her life who’ve had issues with overthinking. Do you think she still suffers from overthinking at 92?

Follow Isaiah Thomas as he listens to three perspectives on overthinking and how they could relate to age. He unpacks the idea that no matter what age, lots of people have internal battles due to overthinking and should feel encouraged to get help.
