Listen to “The Inner-Machinations of Computers” by Vicente.

Have you ever wondered about what goes on behind your device? We live in a technological society, and as I was growing up, I had no idea how computers operated. “What was going on in the making of some of my favorite games? Could I do this for a living?” This curiosity led me to wonder about the computer science field, specifically computer programming, and learn how people manage these devices. So take advantage of this opportunity to listen to some high school students on their early experience with computer programming. Along with an expert in Information Systems Technology.

High school students Ulises and Sebastian gave me an insight into the things they have learned before starting their internships with certain tech companies. After talking with these students, career building was a common theme in their interest in the industry. Learning about computer science has sparked their interest in the wonders of computer programming.

Lastly, Jawon takes us through his journey to becoming a cloud engineer at Allstate. In hopes to help you dive deeper into your interest in learning about the tech industry. After hearing from Jawon, his motivation to work in the tech industry is to show people with different backgrounds that you can do the things they enjoy doing.
