Solidarity: A Hitchhiker’s Guide to Chicago’s Activism by Toby Brogsdale

In light of Gen Z’s growing investment into the political landscape, I, Toby Brogsdale, am creating a guide exploring solidarity within the different social political groups found here in Chicago. When starting out, multitudes of youths who sincerely want to create social change but do not know where or how to start feel a little less lost, and even worried by trying to change a world that allows for little voice. This feeling creates pessimism and doomism, where people just quit politics altogether. Helping young activists understand how solidarity within these groups, as well in general, can help relieve stress brought upon by politics and is an essential component in creating social change.
