Abdul investigates the phenomenon of displacement which is a growing condition amongst gentrified neighborhoods in Chicago including Street Level’s own West Town/Wicker Park Neighborhoods. Abdul looks at what happens when a transient, makeshift community of homeless no longer has access to their neighborhood (a viaduct that gave shelter from nature’s elements).
